TO THE LIVING GOD

TO THE LIVING GOD

 (1)

Sing praises to the living God.  Glory alleluia! Come adore the living God.  Glory alleluia! Though sun and moon may pass away His word will ever stay.  His power is forevermore.  Glory alleluia!

(Antiphon) Glory to the Trinity, the undivided Unity, the Father, Son and Spirit One, From whom all life and goodness come.

(2)

To the living God we sing.  Glory alleluia! Let our love and praises ring.  Glory alleluia! To His sons He always gives His mercy and His love.  Praise Him now forevermore.  Glory alleluia! (Ant)

(3)

To the God who cannot die.  Glory alleluia! To the living God we cry.  Glory alleluia! He promised to be with us and He lives in everyone.  Love Him now forevermore. Lory alleluia! (Ant)

ENTER, REJOICE (E)

(1)

Enter, rejoice, and come in.  Open your hearts to the Lord.  Today will be a joyful day.  Enter, rejoice and come in.

(2)

Gather us all in Your love.  Gather us all in Your love.

(3)

Sing alleluia.  Sing alleluia.  Today will be a joyful day.  Sing alleluia.

LET HEAVEN REJOICE

LET HEAVEN REJOICE

(Antiphon)

Let heaven rejoice and earth be glad.  Let all creation sing!  Let children proclaim to every land: “Hosanna to our King!” (Easter verses)

 (3)

Raise your voices, be not afraid.  Proclaim it in ev’ry land: Christ has died, but He has risen; He will come again. (Ant)

 (4)

Sing a new song unto the Lord for He has done wonderful deeds.  And praise Him, thank Him, dance before Him, play before the Lord. (Ant)

Pass it on

PASS IT ON (R)
(1)

It only takes a spark, to get a fire going, and soon all those around can warm up in its glowing.  That’s how it is with God’s love, once you’ve experienced it you spread His love to ev’ryone; you want to pass it on.

 (2)

What a wondrous time is spring, when all the trees are budding, the birds begin to sing; the flowers start their blooming. That’s how it is with God’s love, once you’ve experienced it you spread His love to ev’ryone; you want to pass it on.

(3)

I wish for you my friend, this happiness that I’ve found, you can depend on Him, it matters not where you’re bound.  I’ll shout it from the mountaintop, I want the world to know; the Lord of love has come to me, I want to pass it on.

let there be Peace on earth 🌎

LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH (R)

 (1)

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me; Let there be peace on earth, the peace that was meant to be.  With God as our Father, children all are we.  Let me walk with my neighbor in perfect harmony.

(2)

Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now.  With ev’ry step I take, let this be my solemn vow: To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.

SERVICE

SERVICE (R)

 (1)

We are made for service to care for each other.  We are made to love each sister and brother with love that will last through sorrow and pain, a love that will never die with strain.

(2)

God sent His Son to show us the way, one who shared His loved ev’ry minute of the day, one who gave His life that we might live and His Spirit to help us through the years.

(3)

Life can be so lonely when nobody cares; life can be so empty when nobody shares.  But if we give ourselves both time and again the happiness of Christ will live within.

Sing to the Mountains

Sing to the mountains, sing to the sea.  Raise your voices, lift your hearts.  This is the day the Lord has

made.  Let all the earth rejoice.

(1)

I will give thanks to You, my Lord.  You have answered my plea.  You have saved my soul from death.  You are my strength and my song. (Ant)

(2)

Holy, holy, holy Lord.  Heaven and earth are full of Your glory. (Ant)

(3)

This is the day the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice.  He has turned all death to life, sing of the glory of God. (Ant)

SEE THE CHURCH ASSEMBLED HERE

SEE THE CHURCH ASSEMBLED HERE (E)

(1)

See the Church assembled here, see the Church in common prayer; see the Church with love and care, celebrate today.  See the Church a Sacrament, see the Church a mystery; when will we ever learn, when will we ever learn.

(2)

Christ is here in happiness; Christ is here in jubilee; Christ is here to bring us joy, within our hearts to stay.  Christ is the same in suffering; Christ the same in victory; when will we ever learn, when will we ever learn.

(3)

Praise to God, the Father; praise to God, the Son; praise to God, the Spirit; all Three in One.  So it has forever been, so it will forever be; when will we ever learn, when will we ever learn.
